Coroner blames Facebook for man’s death

Alan Walsh, deputy coroner of Bolton, said he believed the reliance on those forms of communication may have played a part in Mr Singleton’s death.

He said: “Texts, emails and Facebook are systems that provide wrong impressions and reactions, which seems to have been a major driver in the way Aarons despair continued after the breakdown of the relationship.

“They wouldn’t be there if people met face-to-face.”
