BoingBoing chose to feature the one (about halfway down) showing abandoned newspaper racks, but there are other incredibly powerful images, including some of an unfinished housing development in Florida which just makes you ask, why would you want to live there?
The sheer wastefulness of capitalism is stark in these images, which show both empty brand new houses and homeless people forced to live in tents with no sanitation. Sacramento’s proposed solution? To install plumbing to the tent city.
